Emergency Contact: Please read carefully. This must be someone who will take responsibility for all kennel, and or vet fees, and take your dog in the event you cannot.

In the event you cannot pick up your pet on the specified checkout date, you will need to contact Bowzer’s B&B kennels and arrange for your pet. In the event that you cannot call before the specified check out date, we will call your emergency contact to pick up your pet for you. If your emergency contact cannot pick up your pet, and 24 hours have elapsed from the closing day of your scheduled checkout time, your pet will be considered abandoned, and we will have to relocate your pet through sale if possible to pay any outstanding boarding, grooming, and veterinary fees that may apply to your account. If the sale of your pet is not possible, your pet will be given to the Bellingham humane society. As the pet owner, you will be held liable for any outstanding balance due from boarding fees, grooming, veterinary fees, and relocation fees incurred by Bowzer’s B&B Kennels.

Boarding fees:

Note:  You can bring your own dog food; however, this will not decrease the kennel fees.

NOTE:    This option only applies to small dogs (25 lbs or less) or very old or very sick dogs.

 

 

Note: Your pet must be treated for fleas before entering the kennel compound.

 

We only accept Advantage flea control, Frontline, or Program flea control as acceptable flea treatments. Your dog must be treated a minimum of 24 hours in advance of check in. You can purchase these flea treatments from your vet or your local feed store.

 

 

Important! Please read carefully:

 

If your pet has fleas at the time of check in, there will be an additional $50.00 charge for the required flea shampoo and advantage flea treatment.

 

 

 

Aggressive Dogs

 

We reserve the right to turn away any aggressive dog(s) or breeds known to be aggressive. This includes Rottweilers, Pit bulls, American Bulldogs, Staffordshire Terriers, and Chow Chows, or any dog mixed with any of the above breeds.

 

We do not board aggressive dogs. This includes aggression toward people or other dogs. If your dog is aggressive and causes bodily harm to any people or other animals belonging to or being boarded by Bowzer’s B & B Kennels, you will be held liable for damages, including property, medical, and veterinarians fees. By signing this contract, you are agreeing to these conditions and terms.

 

In the event of your dog’s death, please check all below that you would like us to do.

Medical Emergencies:

 

Please make arrangements with your veterinary Doctor for emergency treatment before leaving your dog with Bowzer’s B&B kennels. Most Veterinary clinics will accept a letter of intent from you stating a promise to pay, or to leave a credit card number with your vet to apply to your account.

 

By signing this contract you are giving Bowzer’s B&B Kennels permission to take your dog to your listed Veterinarian for emergency treatment. If your Vet is not an option, because of distance, we will take your dog to our veterinarian: Dr. John Berry, Lynden Veterinary Hospital, 360-354-7988. If after hours, we will take your dog to the emergency animal hospital in Bellingham WA.  Any Veterinarian fees paid will be added to your boarding fees and will be payable upon checkout.

 

In case of a medical emergency, Bowzer’s B&B Kennels will do everything possible to insure the health and safety of your pet including veterinary care and hospitalization if deemed necessary by the attending veterinary doctor. The dog owner will be liable for all veterinary fees and hospital fees.

 

Bowzer’s B&B Kennels will not be held liable in the event of your dog’s death due to natural cause, previous medical conditions, unknown medical conditions, natural disasters, or what is deemed as an act of God.

 

Medications:

 

If your dog requires daily medications, vitamins, or injections, we will administer them according to your instructions

 

Exercising your Dog.

 

We will do our best to see that your dog receives the proper amount of exercise and playtime according to your dog’s needs, weather permitting. We try to spend as much time as possible with each of our boarders, providing your dog is house trained, your dog will also spend quality time in our home with us playing, cuddling, or just snoozing.

 

Mission statement:

 

It is our aim to make your pet’s stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible even if it means sitting them in our lap and hand feeding them because they miss you. We have a small kennel compound in order to assure your dog will receive as much love and attention as possible. Your dog will enjoy playtime, exercise time, and daily brushing. We will do everything in our power to assure your dog is safe, healthy, and happy during your dog’s stay with us.

 

 

 

Contract Verification

 

By signing this contract you are agreeing that you have carefully read, understand,  and agree to all the terms and conditions of this contract, and that this same contract will pertain to all future business with Bowzer’s B&B Kennels, therefore eliminating the need to fill out another contract.

 

It will be your responsibility to inform Bowzer’s B&B Kennels of any changes in any of the information supplied by you pertaining to this contract.
